Movement creates clarity.

The next step often reveals itself only after the first one is taken.

One of the greatest myths in design is that you must see the entire finished space before making a single decision. In reality, certainty is a byproduct of motion.

When designing a space, you have to establish an anchor. In a high-level executive office, it might be the desk as the piece that dictates the room's entire energy and architectural profile. Until you commit to that center of gravity, the rest of the room is just theory.

Every project begins with unknowns. The objective isn't to eliminate uncertainty before you start, but to move forward with enough intention that the work teaches you what the next step should be. Momentum reveals what overthinking obscures.
